On the anniversary of CPA, Mexico's Secretariat of Agriculture inaugurated the National Reference Center for the Diagnosis and Research of Exotic and Emerging Animal Diseases.

Described as the capital for animal health in the Americas, this center is a benchmark for cooperation and joint work between the United States and Mexico, two neighboring countries that share history, culture, knowledge, and agri-food trade relations.
