In order to guarantee the welfare of the animals that are slaughtered in Mexico's municipal slaughterhouses, SENASICA's official personnel trained operators and administrative staff in Guadalajara, Cocula, Ameca and Villa Corona, in Jalisco.

The goal of this training is to promote the dignified treatment of slaughter animals throughout the production process, in order to obtain a higher quality food for consumers and for producers to be more competitive.

Likewise, slaughterhouse operators and administrative staff were trained in facilities construction specifications, hygienic meat processing in accordance with Federal Inspection Type (TIF) regulations, and authorized methods of animal slaughter.
