During the quarter, pork production reached 431,725 tons (t), an increase of 2.3% compared to the same period in 2023.

Compared to other proteins, the growth rate of pork was higher than that of beef (1.9%) and similar to that of poultry (2.3%).

In March, production stood at 142,482 t, an increase of 1.9% compared to the same month of the previous year and a decrease of 2% compared to February.
