Although not yet published officially, Brussels has decided to ban exports of pork from Sardinia.
The region has already taken steps to strengthen the measures imposed by the eradication plan.
Among the measures to be implemented, it will highlight illegal pig farming and overgrazing, also, support measures will be put in place that promote the regularization of unregistered farms.
The ban by the European authorities has been decided after the onset of 27 outbreaks of African swine fever in recent months.
