The merger of the two Italian swine producers' organizations, Opas and Assocom, will lead to the appearance of GSP (Gruppo Suinicoltori Padani), the biggest Italian pig marketing cooperative, with an invoicing of 200 million euros and 900,000 marketed pigs.

GSP will begin to operate in a year, in January 1st 2014. Also, the purchase stage of the acquisition of raw materials for the partners will be improved.
