The NGO Galvmed has published an online database with free access to information on all livestock vaccines, throughout the world.

This database has been created in order to provide a full scale resource for scientists and other professionals that work in the animal health sector. Vetvac allows users to search by product name, manufacturer, pathogen, species, and availability per country. The information in the database includes the pathogenic strain, adjuvant, dose and administration, duration of immunity, secondary effects, withdrawal time and details of the reference approval, with links to other websites.

Starting in September 2011, Vetvac will have information on over 1.900 vaccine products produced by more than 95 manufacturers. This includes information on vaccines for cattle, sheep, goats, swine and poultry available in the UK, Australia, Africa, India, South America and the USA.
