As of year 2015, Bayonne ham will be sold in US. The health authorities of US have given the green light to the abattoir Fipso and to the company Delpeyrat, according to the statements of Mr. Bernard Dupont, President of the Bayonne ham inter-professional association.

Bayonne ham is produced from pigs raised in the southwest of France. Up to now, the production intended for US has only started, because the curing of this ham lasts for a year.
