Excellent news for the French pork sector: the first French offal has arrived in China, marking a significant step forward for the export of high-value products. This success is the result of three years of work and negotiations between French and Chinese authorities, supported by INAPORC. The French pork industry, with the support of Culture Viande, obtained the necessary approvals to export stomachs and intestines to China. This opening should allow a 10% increase in exports to this key market, despite a challenging environment due to anti-dumping duties.
In 2025, France exported 104,000 tons of pork products to China, generating approximately €200 million in revenue, despite a 9.9% decrease in exports compared to the previous year. The lifting of import duties and the opening of the offal market should boost exports in 2026.
