Last year, Polish imports of Danish weaners increased from a few thousand to more than 800,000. Poland now accounts for nearly 10 percent of Danish weaner exports.

Last year, Polish imports of Danish weaners increased from a few thousand to more than 800,000. Poland now accounts for nearly 10 percent of Danish weaner exports.

It sites last year's dramatic decrease in the Polish sow herd, which should create demand from Polish finishers, for more weaners.
