SEGES is the merger of the former Knowledge Centre for Agriculture and the Danish Pig Research Centre, effective as per 1 January 2015.

The Knowledge Centre's new name and brand concept was finally approved at the end of November 2014 in connection with the Knowledge Centre’s General Assembly, which is composed of the Primary Sector Board of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council.

SEGES will form a new company where we gather the professional knowledge within all sectors of production in one organisation. In this way SEGES will become an international heavyweight in the agricultural business, says CEO Mr Jan Mousing, the Knowledge Centre for Agriculture.
