A recent report by the Ministry of Agriculture noted that total feed output for the first quarter is expected to reach 30.32 million tonnes, up 5.6% over the same period last year.

Attributable to the growth is mainly an increasing share of up to 76.7% for compound animal feed because of the bigger animal population, growing number of standardized farms and rising corn prices.
