Due to the effectiveness of the classical swine fever (CSF) surveillance and control measures undertaken in Bulgaria and in view of the favorable epidemiological situation of CSF, the whole territory of Bulgaria has been removed from the list of restricted zones in Annex 1 to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/934 of 9 June 2021 which lays down special control measures for CSF.

The whole territory of Romania remains the only area listed in the current Annex 1 of restricted zones for CSF.
