South Australia’s ability to strategically and effectively respond to animal, plant, and aquatic pests and diseases will be boosted through the setting up of Biosecurity SA within PIRSA.

South Australia’s ability to strategically and effectively respond to animal, plant, and aquatic pests and diseases will be boosted through the setting up of Biosecurity SA within PIRSA.

The new organisation will consolidate the State Government’s capacity for prevention of animal, plant and aquatic pests and diseases, response and recovery. It will integrate the biosecurity functions of the Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity.
