Genomes from the African Swine Fever (ASF) virus were found in 800g of sausages brought by a traveler from Chengdu province in China at the Chiang Rai International Airport in Thailand, according to Asian Agribiz.

The product was confiscated for examination and found positive for the virus, said Thailand’s Department of Livestock Director-General Sorawit Thanito.
