Last Friday, China confirmed the presence of ASF in Beijing, on two farms with 1,325 and 429 susceptible animals, respectively. The number of affected regions is now 20.
During the last week, the veterinary authorities have also confirmed new outbreaks in Yunan (2 outbreaks and a total of 349 susceptible animals), Sichuan (110 susceptible animals), Shanghai (314 susceptible animals), Heilongjiang (900 susceptible animals), Hunan (73 susceptible animals), Beijing (1,325 and 429 susceptible animals) and Inner Mongolia (88 susceptible animals).
