Topigs Norsvin USA names John Eggert new CEO

Topigs Norsvin is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. John Eggert as Chief Executive Officer for Topigs Norsvin USA. John Eggert has been a key member of Topigs Norsvin USA’s Senior Management and Leadership team since 2014 and will take over from Dr. Mike Terrill, who has led the company with distinction for the last eight years. John Eggert will officially assume the CEO position on January 1, 2021. Mike Terrill will assume the role of Senior Business Advisor for Topigs Norsvin USA.

“John Eggert has more than 20 years of management experience, most recently, as Chief Development Officer for Topigs Norsvin USA. John has led the marketing, research, sales, and business development areas and has been a key member of the management team responsible for leading the company in its ever-growing position in the US market. His early career included genetic, nutrition, and meat science research with Wayne Feeds, Cotswold International and Monsanto/Newsham Choice Genetics,” Dr. Terrill commented. John Eggert graduated from Harvard College and has earned MS, MBA, and PhD (Animal Science and Genetics) degrees from Purdue University.

“It has been my pleasure to be part of Topigs Norsvin’s growth in the US market over the last ten years,” commented John Eggert. “I am confident that our products, and our people, will continue to add value to US production systems.”
