The IPVS2020 abstracts’ submission deadline is February 29th

The most important event of the world’s swine industry will receive abstracts from universities and research institutions around the world until February 29th, 2020.

Abstracts submission for the 26th IPVS (International Pig Veterinary Society) Congress, which will take place from June 2nd to 5th in the city of Rio de Janeiro, ends tomorrow. The scientific committee is receiving abstracts on the following topics: Viral diseases, Bacterial diseases, Parasitic diseases, Immunology and Vaccinology, Food safety, Reproduction, Biosecurity, Genetics, Antimicrobials, Welfare, Nutrition, Clinical Cases, Production and Innovation, Miscellaneous and Herd management. The guidelines for abstract preparation are available at http://ipvs2020.com/abstracts/, and they should be submitted online at the website www.ipvs2020.com.

Known as the most important scientific event of the world swine industry, the presentation of scientific papers plays a key role at this congress and the scientific committee is ready to receive and evaluate them, said Fernanda Almeida, president of the IPVS. “The IPVS congresses receive the ultimate results of researches performed around the world. Researchers from universities and research institutions all over the world wait for the opportunity to present their studies at the IPVS Congresses. We are delighted to provide this great opportunity for the Brazilian researchers to not only show their work but also discuss them with researchers from other countries, gaining visibility and knowledge from the ultimate results obtained of different research areas around the world”, mentioned Dr. Almeida.
