We have expanded our "Pig production data" section: In addition to the data on annual trade of fresh and frozen pork, we are now adding monthly trade data, and we hope to soon be adding information on offal, fat and processed pork.

Currently the data we offer in relation to pork trade is relative to European Union countries and spans from 1988 to 2019 for annual data and from 2010 to 2019 for monthly data.

The trade data can be displayed in different graphic formats that allow you to see and compare between various countries and periods. As an example, the following graph shows the monthly exports of frozen pork from the main European exporters. It shows the significant drop in Germany after ASF appeared in wild boar in the country last September, the consequent closure of its main export markets for pork, and the unstoppable rise in Spanish exports.
