Vietnam plans to restructure its livestock industry to ensure sufficient meat production for the growing populations and lift its competitiveness in the overseas market.

Vietnam plans to restructure its livestock industry to ensure sufficient meat production for the growing populations and lift its competitiveness in the overseas market.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said it targets to increase the ratio of livestock production to 38% of the total agricultural output by 2015 and 42% by 2020 from 30% at the moment.
