USA - USDA sees lowers pork export, higher beef imports

In its quarterly "Outlook for U.S Agricultural Trade" report USDA cut its U.S. pork export forecast for 2009 by 200,000 metric tons ($600 million) to 1.3 million metric tons and compared to 1.53 million metric tons exported in 2008. Forecasts for beef, broiler meat and beef and pork variety meat exports, however, were left unchanged.
