Ukraine - Pig population is growing
The Ukrainian Statistics Committee reported that as of September 1, 2009 Pig population showed 7.4 million heads which is 7.5% up.
During January – August 2009 Ukraine produced 1.7 million tons of meat which is 0.8% down from the same indicator a year ago.
