The Court of Justice condemns France for the breach of the Nitrates Directive

According de information of the French Ministry of Agriculture, the Court of Justice of the European Union has condemned France for the breach of the regulations of the Directive on "nitrates" of 1991. The Directive plans the designation of "vulnerable areas" in which the action programs are implemented.

For the Court, the designations of vulnerable areas are insufficient in the Adour-Garonne, Rhône-Méditerranée, Rhin-Meuse, and Loire-Bretagne basins.
