Taiwan eliminates tariffs on pork from Paraguay

On October 15, 2020, the President of SENACSA, Dr. José Carlos Martin, participated in the "Joint Committee Meeting of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation (ECA) between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Republic of Paraguay".

During the meeting, the products that will be able to enter Taiwan without tariffs were negotiated, including pork, offal, and hamburgers.

With respect to pork, the elimination of the 12.5% tariff was achieved bringing it to 0%; for offal, the 15% tariff was eliminated; and for hamburgers, the 20% tariff was eliminated.
