St. Kitts and Nevis - More beef and mutton, less pork and goat meat

Director of Agriculture, Mr. Ashton Stanley said beef production during 2008 increased from 90,000 kilos in 2007 to 108,000 kilos in 2008, up 19.5 percent. Pork production dropped slightly from 74,600 kilos in 2007 from 2,737 pigs to 71,700 kilos in 2008 from 2,632 pigs.
