The European pork exports have started 2016 with a rise by 23.5% in comparison with January 2015.

In particular, in January 278,425 tonnes have been exported, almost half of them (116,574 tonnes, or 41.9% of the total) to China. Quite far away we have Japan (27,186 tonnes; 9.8%) and Hong Kong (25,053 tonnes; 9.0%).
