The Council of Ministers, on the motion of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, has approved a Royal Decree partially implementing the Law on Measures to improve the functioning of the food chain. The regulatory development of the Act, which is provided with all the necessary elements to correct imbalances in trade relations companies operating in the food chain, is therefore completed.
The Royal Decree lays down provisions and good practices in food procurement for the Observatory on the Food Supply Chain, the official agri-food laboratories under the Ministry for official control, and the amendment of the regulation of the law governing agri-food interbranch organizations.
