The statistical data of the Ministry of Agriculture show an increase by 8.37% in pig slaughterings during the first trimester of 2015 in comparison with the same period in 2014, with a total of 12,009,591 pigs slaughtered.

1,034,005 tonnes of pork have been produced during the first trimester of 2015, and this represents and increase by 8.53% with respect to the first trimester of 2014.
