Spain: important increase in pig production

During the first half of 2015, the Spanish pig production has increased by 9.14%, reaching 1,962,074 tonnes.

During the first half of 2015, the Spanish pig production has increased by 9.14%, reaching 1,962,074 tonnes, in comparison with the 1,797,835 tonnes during the same period in 2014.

With respect to the slaughterings of animals, between January and June 2015, a total of 23,052,101 heads have been slaughtered, representing a rise by 7.79% with respect to the same period in 2014 (21,386,661 heads).
