South Korea increases tariff-free pork imports

South Korea will nearly double the volume of tariff-free pork it will allow into the country to 110,000 tonnes as a response to the FMD outbreak that has crippled domestic production.

South Korea will nearly double the volume of tariff-free pork it will allow into the country to 110,000 tonnes as a response to the FMD outbreak that has crippled domestic production.

Vice Finance Minister Yim Jong-yong said imports above 110,000 tonnes would be charged the current tariff of 25%.
