According to Rosselkhoznadzor, the official EU web-site (https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/sanco/traces/output/RU/RPM_RU_en.pdf) informs that four establishments situated in Kaliningrad oblast got the right to export finished beef, pork and poultry meat to the EU countries.

As it had been earlier informed in 2012 the Rosselkhoznadzor got the right to export finished beef and pork products from Kaliningrad oblast to the EU and poultry meat from entire Russia.

EU Regulation No 1162/2012 that came into force on the 28th of December, 2012 allows export of finished beef, pork products treated at ≥ 80ºC from Russian establishments to the EU on condition that raw material used for the said product production came from the EU or was produced from cattle or pigs grown and slaughtered in Kaliningrad oblast or delivered from the third country approved for export to the EU. Finished poultry meat products can be exported to the EU from entire Russia and such products don’t need any specific heat treatment.

The Rosselkhoznadzor is conducting talks on easing the EU requirements for heat treatment of beef and pork products.
