Last Friday the Russian veterinary authorities confirmed to the OIE three new FMD outbreaks in Primorsky Kray.

The veterinary authorities confirmed to the OIE three new outbreaks of the disease, all of them in Primorskiy Kray: specifically in Zelenodolskoye (Spassky), with 3,410 susceptible pigs, out of which 2,765 were confirmed cases; in Stary Kluch (Spassky), with 3 susceptible bovines, with no confirmed cases, and 384 susceptible pigs, out of which 230 were confirmed cases; and finally in Spassk-Dalny (Spassky) with a susceptible bovine and an affected pig.
