The share of the main Russian pork producers is growing. In 2015, the 20 main companies in the sector, with a production of 1,917.47 tonnes, represented 60.8% of the pork industrial production, according to the Russian Federation National Swine Breeders' Association published by PigUA.

The total pork production of those 20 companies in 2015 was 10.3% higher than in 2014, whilst for the rest of the companies, the production reached 39.2% vs 40.4% in 2014.

Regarding the ranking of these companies, and although the first 5 positions remain the same (Miratorg, Rusagro, Cherkizovo, Agro-Belogorie and the Agrarnaya Group), their share in the total industrial pork production dropped slightly. On the other hand, there were changes in the positions held by some of the companies that are part of the rest of the list, as for instance Agropromkomplektatsiya, that rose to the sixth place due to an important increase in the production of fattening pigs (+52%), or Velikoluksky, that with a rise in production by 47% went from the 11th to the 8th position. The most important leap was that of APK Agroeko, with a rise in pork production by 64%, going from the 20th to the 14th position.
