The Regulation regarding the aid to private storage of pork has been published

The Official Journal of the EU has published the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2334, that opens private storage for pigmeat and fixes in advance the amount of aid.

The Official Journal of the EU has published the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2334, that opens private storage for pigmeat and fixes in advance the amount of aid.

As announced, January 4th 2016 is the starting date for the applications for the aids to private storage. Applications shall relate to a storage period of 90, 120 and 150 days and each application shall cover a minimum quantity of at least 10 tonnes for boned products and 15 tonnes for other products.

Every Monday and Thursday, the member states will notify the Commission the amounts for which applications have been presented for the signing of contracts on Thursday and Friday of the previous week and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the ongoing week, respectively.
