Poland Chief Veterinary Officer announced last week the discovery of the ninth outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Poland.

The ninth outbreak, with six wild boars found dead on 15 July is located in the town of Gródek (district of Bialystok, Podlaskie province), approximately 1.5 km from Skroblaki (3.5 km from the seventh focus) and 7.5 km from the Polish-Belarusian border.
