The new group is a resurrection of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP) which closed its doors earlier this year. Many of the groups involved in IFAP are also founding members of the new farm group. The new group will be based in Rome.
The World Farmers’ Organization said its goal is to give the world’s farmers a voice in key international issues.
