In 2015, the use of antibiotics in Danish pig production fell by 5% with respect to 2014. The consumption of tetracyclines dropped by 11%.
Between 2009 and 2013, the consumption of antibiotics in pig production fell by 13%, and there was a new drop between years 2013 and 2015. The next goal is to reach a reduction by 15% between 2105 and 2018.
