Last year, 2014, the estimated value of agricultural exports from the Netherlands amounted to 80.7 billion euros, representing a slight increase over the previous year.

According to these preliminary data, the Dutch agricultural trade was focused on the countries of the European Union. The 27 EU countries have a share of 77% overall in the Dutch agricultural exports.

Germany remains, by far, the main trading partner of the Netherlands with nearly 26% of agricultural exports worth 20.7 billion euros. Compared to 2013, the export rate has remained virtually unchanged (−0.3 million). Germany imports from the Netherlands especially meat, dairy and eggs, ornamental plants, and fruits and vegetables. The value of meat exports in particular, increased slightly, by 2%. Pork and poultry exports increased while beef exports declined.
