Mexico will export pig by-products to China

The memorandum will allow to start the work to establish the requirements that must be fulfilled by those interested in selling pig offal.

The Director General of Animal Health of the SENASICA (Mexico), Mr. Joaquín Delgadillo Álvarez, and the Deputy Director General of the Department of Animal Health of the AQSIQ (China), Mr. Bi Kexin, signed a cooperation memorandum regarding the processing and the health requirements of edible pig by-products for their exportation from Mexico to China.

This memorandum, signals the start of the work between the SENASICA and the AQSIQ technicians to establish the animal health requirements that must be fulfilled by those interested in selling pig offal.

During the meeting, Mr. Enrique Sánchez Cruz invited the Asian delegation to use, as soon as possible, the eCert (electronic certificate) between Mexico and China to favour an agile and safe trade of food and agriculture products between both countries through the exchange of online certificates between both governments.
