In the face of the tariff imposed by the USA, Mexico will impose equivalent measures to several products such as flat steel (cold and hot plates, including coated steel and various pipes), lamps, pig hams and shoulders, cold meats and food preparations, apples, grapes, blueberries and several cheeses, among other products, up to an amount comparable to that of the level of the losses.

This measure will remain in force until the USA government does not remove the tariffs imposed.

Mexico reaffirms its openness to a constructive dialogue with the USA, its support to the international trade system and its rejection to unilateral protectionist measures.
