Korea confirms an outbreak of Classical swine fever

According to the OIE, Korean veterinary authorities have confirmed the appearance of Classical swine fever (CSF) in the country. CSF had been absent in the country since April 2009.

The outbreak is located in an unit farm in Siran-dong (Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do), there are a total of 300 susceptible animals out of wich 4 cases were reported.
