Hungary - Pig production still falling

According to Antal Sákán of the Federation of Pig Producers, production should fall by a further 10% this year.

According to Antal Sákán of the Federation of Pig Producers, production should fall by a further 10% this year.

In the early 1980s, Hungary was a major pork producer with 10 m. pigs. This is likely to fall below 2.7 m. heads in 2010.
