In 2025, the Chilean swine industry showed stable performance, with moderate increases in slaughter, production, and apparent consumption. Foreign trade reflected a slight contraction in both exports and import volume. This performance suggests strengthening of the domestic market, supported by the growing share of national production in apparent consumption, which consolidates sustained expansion in domestic demand while reaffirming the importance of Chilean pork exports to key international markets.
