The veterinary authorities have sent a report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) about an outbreak of classical swine fever (CSF) in Guatemala.

The affected farm is located in Palin (Escuintla).

The outbreak was reported by a private veterinarian accredited by the official veterinary services. It is limited to only this farm. There are no other cases. A nationwide epidemiological surveillance is ongoing.
