France – Decrease in hog numbers

The latest data published by the French statistical service (Agreste) shows a decrease in hog numbers of 1,4% in May of this year, in relation to 2009.

The latest data published by the French statistical service (Agreste) shows a decrease in hog numbers of 1,4% in May of this year, in relation to 2009.

Sows, with a decrease of 200.000 (-2,1%) and the fattening pigs, with a decrease of 107.000, are those which have noted the largest decline (-1,9%).
