Bearing in mind the different African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreaks notified in August, and with the aim of avoiding the spreading of the disease and commercial problems with third countries, the European Commission has broadened and redefined the areas subject to the animal health control measures established in the appendix of the Commision Implementing Decision 2014/709/EU for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
