This authorization also covers exports of beef, poultry, their derivatives, and dairy products.

Cenasa officially recognized and authorized the Colombian sanitary system and that of the seven establishments of the pork industry that presented themselves as candidates in this admissibility process. Consequently, with the resolution issued by the National Health Center of Cuba, the following plants are authorized for two years: Supercerdo Paisa S.A.S, Frigotun S.A.S, Frigorífico Cooperativa Colanta, Comercializadora Agrosigo S.A.S., Alimentos Cárnicos S.A.S, Sociedad Central Ganadera S.A., and Frigorífico La Marranera.

With this confirmation from the sanitary entities authorizing the export of Colombian pork and pork products to Cuba, this country becomes the first in the region to officially open its doors to Colombian products.
