Chinese experts inspected Russian pork and beef processing plants

The mission of the Chinese delegation was aimed at evaluation of the current control system used to regulate animal product manufacturing and ensure disease freedom in the areas as well as at the inspection of the Russian plants interested in exportation of the their products in China.

Experts from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC (AQSIQ) and Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the PRC along with the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives held a final meeting following the results of 10-day visit of the Chinese delegation to Russia.

The mission of the Chinese delegation was aimed at evaluation of the current control system used to regulate animal product manufacturing and ensure disease freedom in the areas as well as at the inspection of the Russian plants interested in exportation of the their products in China.

During the 10-day visit the Chinese experts visited six RF Subjects (Vladimir, Smolensk, Voronezh, Bryansk, Belgorod Oblasts and Krasnodar Krai). They were informed of the activities of the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administrations and Veterinary Services of the RF Subjects. The Chinese experts also inspected a number of pork and beef processing plants interested in exportation of their products into the PRC.

During the meeting the Chinese experts mentioned preliminary conclusions and proposals in follow-up of the performed inspection.
