China's frozen pork exports up

Data from China's Customs show that frozen pork exports recorded 110,000 tonnes in 2010, or an increase of 26.3% from the previous year.

Data from China's Customs show that frozen pork exports recorded 110,000 tonnes in 2010, or an increase of 26.3% from the previous year.

Of the total, export to Hong Kong registered 83,100 tonnes, up 18.4% year-on-year, accounting for 75.5% of the total exports; while exports to Kyrgyzstan was 12,400 tonnes, up 54.8%, accounting for 11.3% of the total exports; exports to Singapore was 1,000 tonnes, down 59.7%, accounting for 0.9% of the total.
