In order to increase meat supply and keep market expectations stable, the Ministry of Commerce, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and other departments, released 17,000 tons of pork from central reserves on July 15, 2020. In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce, along with relevant departments, will continue to release the meat from central reserves according to market changes.
