China expands the list of United States and Canada plants to import pork from

There are now 28 processing and cooling plants authorized to export pork to China, 22 American ones and 6 Canadian ones.

Last October, China announced it was resuming the import of pork and related products from the US, after it was banned in August 2014 due to the use of ractopamine.

This November China has expanded this list and there are now 28 processing and cooling plants authorized to export pork, 22 American ones and 6 Canadian ones.
